The kind of love that Jesus demonstrated was not just a feeling, but a gift given from the heart. His love was demonstrated by his actions. God calls us to give our love, time, money, energy, etc. to him and others as a way of demonstrating love. We can say that we love, but giving of ourselves demonstrates our love. Words are cheap unless they are backed up by generous action.
